It looks so unique and promising. Like nothing else on the market.
More games like this and games as a medium might finally be taken seriously.
The old 1UP crew loving the game:

"The 360’s hard plastic shell, designed to withstand overheating, reportedly made poor bonfire tinder..."
Oh the irony!
:-)
The article is of course meant as a joke.
From the article:
- At the demo, all levels were present, except for the last. And as a bit of a teaser, Chen let us in on a twist: The final level won't be a flower.
- The sixth level, perhaps unsurprisingly, takes place in the city, with you flying through the sunlit environment, erecting brightly colored buildings instead of birthing verdant flower patches.
- But the fifth level's unexpected. It's dark and stormy, with massive criss-crossed metal str...
If this ends up just half as bad as Rrod, its going to look pretty bad for MS.
I don't get how a big company like MS can keep on producing such faulty hardware... And for such a long time? I mean 3 years and still going, thats just crazy.
This is a direct feed :-)
Sony has really shown the potential of smaller downloadable games.
This is a perl.
Took notice of these parts.
"We wanted to show this wasn't just a jungle game." And, from what we've seen, the team has succeeded in this aim: alongside ice caverns and frozen mountainsides, we're shown a real variety of environments, from lush indoor spaces filled with gold leaf and bright colours, to an opulent train with blood red curtains and swinging brass lights, and a desolate Nepalese monastery clinging to the side of a cliff.

They will counter with Halo Wars. It comes out around the same time as Killzone 2.
Not much to say other then that.
Wonder when it will be released.
It looks great.
I Like the nail-gun (or whatever it's called)
Nice effekts when you shoot a soldier and he flies trough the air.
Did you expect it to conker the marked right from the start?
Did you expect it to overtake Dvd right away?
The market dosent work like that.
It's doing better then the dvd-format were doing at the same point in it's life... That says something about it's success already. Especially because right now Blu-ray is only relevant to half the market of DVD (the ones with HD-televisions).
Blu-ray makes up about 14% of total sales of new blockbuster titles...
- We're now a little over 2 years into the growth of the Blu-ray format.
- At the same point in the early life of DVD, there were 1.2 million DVD players in U.S. homes.
- Fox's Mike Dunn claimed that there are more than 2.5 million stand-alone Blu-ray players in the U.S. today, with another 8 million PS3s.
- An impressive figure when you consider that the laserdisc market - at its height - amounted to a total of 2 million LD players here in the States...
and that is that it's wrong. Plain and simple.
Blu-ray's market share has almost doubled since HD DVD's demise, and is now at 12% of the disk-market.

Bronze - Easy
Silver - Normal
Gold - Hard
Finishing a game on hard is not something everyone can do. And some will find it frustrating... but it does not make it unfair. These player just have to settle for only getting silver trophies.
When he sang "Cry me a river"!

I tipped the news... For some reason som random pretty unknown danish gamesite ended up with these pics first.
They are very much so.
They just started earning money... This is their first year of actually making any money on the xbox brand - first year out of seven!. And this is not even counting the one billion they had to pay because of all the faulty 360's.
Takeing last generation into account, MS's gaming division is very much in the red. 6.3 billion dollars to be precise. This is money they wont recoup in this generation, and perhaps not even in the next.
...
MS's gaming division is 6.3 billion dollars in the red even if you counted this years profit.
I dont think Sony is in a bad situation at all money wise. They are still up billions from the last generations sales.
Actualy Ico took around 4 years (it started on the ps1) and so did Shadow of the big dudes.
It will be great, but it will take time.
Vitalogy:
What makes you think it will get boring quickly?
From what i have seen, Flower looks like a beautiful and unique experience that invokes emotions (other than the typical "kill kill kill!" emotion) and focus on the details just like Ico or Shadow of the Colossus did it.
This game caters in my opinion much to the same crowd that played and loved Ico and SotC, and those games defiantly didn't become boring quickly.
